About the art
Heaven & Seas
Psalms 95:5
I want to be in awe of the creation that God has made on our planet Earth. The expansiveness of the world is previewed in places like miles of large bodies of water or the endless sky. "The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land." Psalms 95:5. Whether it be in the calmest of days or in the thrashing waves in the middle of a storm in the ocean, His presence is there. This series was created to capture those moments and be displayed in ways to remind of of just that. The series was originally painted and crafted in June to July of 2024.
Golden Autumn
Romans 6:6
The fall is a time of change. It can resemble a time of death. But "Death" does not always mean bad. We have to let go of things that we once held dearly in order to let new and better things grow. God needs us to die to our old earthly ways to make room for the new an everlasting. “For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin" Romans 6:6.
Painted from September to November of 2024.
